Overview

The Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge is bound to produce the top trained dentist since 2014, the Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge has been dedicated to producing highly trained dentists. Our department offers comprehensive programs, including undergraduate (BDS) training, postgraduate (MDS) programs, and PG Diploma courses, ensuring a well-rounded education in prosthodontics. With an alumni network of over 50 prosthodontists practicing nationally and internationally, we take pride in our graduates’ contributions to the field worldwide. Our core principle is to be a vital part of restoring smiles and enhancing quality of life. Through a combination of artistic skill, advanced technology, and personalized care, our prosthodontists help patients regain confidence and functionality in their oral health. Whether through implants, dentures, or other restorations, our goal is consistent: to create solutions that are both effective and aesthetically pleasing, delivering on patient needs and ensuring their satisfaction.

At the Department of Prosthodontics at Lenora Institute of Dental Sciences, we are committed to delivering outstanding education, advancing pioneering research, and providing exceptional patient care. Established with a vision to offer a comprehensive range of educational opportunities, our department supports students from undergraduate to postgraduate levels, including the introduction of diploma courses in prosthodontics—a unique offering among the two Telugu states.

Our department adopts a research-oriented approach, adapting to evolving societal needs to ensure our students excel in their specialty, fostering lifelong career success. Equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, we provide an enhanced learning experience, while dental Continuing Dental Education (CDE) programs keep our students and faculty informed of the latest global advancements in the field.

Dedicated to community service, we organize dental camps and provide free treatment to elderly patients in remote villages, embodying our commitment to making oral healthcare accessible to all.
