Build a strong foundation in dental sciences through comprehensive academic learning, clinical exposure and hands-on patient care at LIDS.
1. Prosthodontics & Crown & Bridge
Advanced prosthodontic training. Clinical precision. Patient-focused rehabilitation.
The Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) program in Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge at KLRS Lenora Institute of Dental Sciences is designed to build advanced knowledge and clinical skills in the restoration and replacement of missing or damaged teeth. The program combines academic learning with practical clinical exposure to help students understand treatment planning, restorative procedures and oral rehabilitation. Through experienced faculty guidance and hands-on training, students develop the confidence to manage prosthodontic cases while strengthening their clinical decision-making and treatment skills. The three-year MDS program is designed for BDS graduates who have completed their compulsory rotatory internship.

3. Clinical Infrastructure
Advanced Clinical Facilities for Hands-on Learning
Clinical training is an important part of postgraduate education at LIDS. The institute provides extensive clinical exposure through its dental departments, patient interactions and supervised treatment environment. The college has more than 355 dental units and facilities including 3D printing technology, intraoral scanners and cone beam computed tomography.
For Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge students, this clinical environment provides opportunities to understand prosthodontic diagnosis, treatment planning and restorative procedures through practical case exposure. Students can develop their clinical skills while working under faculty supervision and learning to approach cases with precision and patient care in mind.
4. Faculty & Mentorship
Building Skills in Prosthodontics Through Learning & Care
We help undergraduate and postgraduate students build strong clinical skills through practical training, research and patient care. The department offers a range of learning opportunities, including postgraduate and diploma courses in prosthodontics. With well-equipped laboratory facilities and regular Continuing Dental Education (CDE) programs, students and faculty can stay updated with the latest developments in the field. The department also takes learning beyond the classroom through dental camps and free treatment for elderly patients in remote villages, giving students an opportunity to understand the importance of accessible and compassionate dental care.
