Scope:

The objective of undergraduate/postgraduate program in the department is to emphasize the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of defects of the teeth which includes caries involving different hard tissues of the teeth, wasting diseases of teeth, pulpal, periapical diseases and also post endodontic rehabilitation. Special emphasis is given to rehabilitation of the form, function and esthetics of the teeth. To produce global leaders in the art and science of conservative dentistry and endodontics through education, innovation and research. To evolve into a centre of excellence in student training program through creative and innovative practices in clinical treatment and research.to provide preclinical and clinical instruction to the students in contemporary and evidence based operative dentistry to maintain optimal patient oral health, comfort, function and esthetics. To emphasize on modern day dental practice management and auxillary utilization. To create teaching program with student centric learning environment. Our department is made more attractive to the students with its huge lush green campus and superior infrastructure. Continous out-patient flow and scheduled appointments expose the students to various clinical cases. Equipped with wide range of speciality materials, gadgets and equipments make the premises more unique and learning centric. Experienced senior faculty mastered in different spheres of specialty and in their guidance to junior faculty work effectively as a team work making the department conductive for learning.
