The University of Health Sciences advocates the idea of utilizing the natural resources to bring out new medicines and help mankind the true spirit of the age-old adage “Vaidyo Narayano Harihi”. The picture shows the Rishis of ancient times churning the ‘sea of milk’ (white sea) with the hillock Mandhara as rod and the great king of snakes, Vasuki as the rope. During churning of the sea, several things came up among which was a pot of nectar (Amrutham), which makes mankind immortal.
